Meet Jordan mALONE, lmft

Embrace what gracefully growing means to you.

I’m a Nashville-based therapist who works alongside women navigating anxiety, burnout, and ADHD. I also enjoy helping couples build trust and strengthen their communication.

Supporting women who find themselves…

  • Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or depression

  • Carrying the weight of life’s responsibilities and longing for rest, but unsure how to truly rest

  • Operating on autopilot, neglecting self-care

  • Seeking restoration and healing in relationships with family or friends

  • Needing support in marriage or romantic relationships during conflict, separation, or infidelity

  • Wanting to improve communication with others

  • Struggling with self-esteem or body image issues

  • Desiring healing and growth after experiencing church hurt

  • Seeking a space to be seen, heard, and understood

  • Looking for pre-marital counseling

  • Grieving the loss of a loved one, a relationship, or missed opportunities

I hope you know this:

You have taken a huge step towards growth.

What is graceful growth?

I’d love to work with you to explore what graceful growth means for you. To me, graceful growth is about making consistent, small decisions that support your goals and the life you desire. It’s about taking responsibility for your actions, practicing self-compassion, and being guided by your values and/or faith as you make choices, set boundaries, and live in harmony with others.

Gracefully growing means being intentional in how you respond to life’s challenges, accepting what’s within your control and letting go of what isn’t. Growth is hard—it requires meaningful endurance—but it’s also beautiful. To grow gracefully is to make progress, knowing that every intentional decision allows you to move skillfully and graciously through difficult seasons or seasons of expansion. And when you emerge from those seasons, your confidence builds, preparing you to gracefully step into whatever the next one holds.

My background

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (TN #2230)

M.MFT Marriage and Family Therapy, Lipscomb University

B.A Criminal Justice, University of Memphis

  • Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a legal assistant in a corporate law firm while preparing for law school. However, I shifted my career path from aspiring family attorney to helping individuals, couples, and families find healing through therapy. My background in the legal field has provided me with a strong understanding of systems, the ability to anticipate client needs, and deep empathy for their experiences.

I completed my master’s level internship at the Lipscomb Family Therapy Center and Insight Counseling Centers, a non-profit, where I earned over 480 clinical hours working with individuals, couples, and families.

After earning my degree, I continued at Insight Counseling Centers until December 2022, and then transitioned to a group private practice, The Briggs Institute, Inc., where I worked from August 2022 to June 2025.

Throughout my career, I have provided therapy to individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of clinical needs.

  • Membership with American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) 202267 / 2020-2025

  • When I’m not working with clients, you can find me with a decaf latte in hand either reading, writing poetry, crocheting or enjoying an aesthetic coffee shop. I also enjoy mat Pilates and going for walks, connecting with husband and loved ones, being in my church community, enjoying the art of making lattes and exploring new ideas through podcasts.
